We’ve updated our Wingspan Bird Card Tier list from its initial version 1.0!

Here is the revision history of our Wingspan Bird Card Tier list:

Rainbow Lorikeet
Moved from T3 to T2
Strong early gameplay. Low VP/egg capacity prevents it from going higher.

New Holland Honeyeater
Moved from BT to T2
Strong early gameplay. Holds eggs and grabs birdfeeder nectar from Grasslands.

Bullfinch
Moved from BT to T4
Well-rounded average qualities.

House Finch
Moved from T1 to T2
A large nest/all habitat isn’t enough to justify T1. Not “game bending”.

Purple Martin
Moved from T1 to T3
Cheap cost and Wet/Grass isn’t enough to justify T1 or T2. Not “game bending”.

Barn Swallow
Moved from T1 to T2
Cheap cost, star nest, and Wet/Grass isn’t enough to justify T1. Not “game bending”.

Sulfur Crested Cockatoo
Moved from BT to T2
Tuck a card (VP) from hand and all players get 1 nectar from supply. 6 VP for two food is currently valued no lower than T3. Nectar for all is currently valued no higher than T2.

Common Nightingale
Moved from BT to T2
This was missed during the original assignment. Wild food for all is currently valued no higher than T2.

Major Mitchell’s Cockatoo
Moved from BT to T3
Tuck a card from hand (VP) and all players get 1 wheat from supply. 6 VP for two food is currently valued no lower than T3. Forest/Grassland

Horned Lark
Moved from BT to T4
5 VP + 4 egg nest for 2 food can be useful on its own.

Kelp Gull
Moved from BT to T3
6 points for 2 food is currently valued no lower than T3. 50% wild food cost. Unique ability.

Princess Stephanie’s Astrapia

6 points for 2 food is currently valued no lower than T3. Lay eggs from the Forest.

Savi’s Warbler
Moved from BT to T2
Draw and keep 2 cards (diggs just as much as T1 counterparts). 1 VP and 4 egg nest for 1 food. All other players draw 1 prevents it from going higher.

Willie Wagtail
Moved from BT to T4
All habitats. 50% wild food cost. 2 VP with 5 egg nest for 2 food. Draws a specific card.

American Oyster Catcher
Moved from BT to T4
Well-rounded qualities. Nets you 2 cards but gives all opponents 1 card.

6 points for 2 food is currently valued no lower than T3.

Black Skimmer

Common Loon

Chipping Sparrow
Moved from T3 to T2
Lay an egg on any bird from the Forest. Comparable to Mourning Dove. Can’t go into Wetlands.

Pileated Woodpecker
Moved from T2 to T3
Requires specific nest type to get the 2nd egg. Gives 1 egg to all opponents that have a specific nest type. Other qualities aren’t above average.
