Wingspan European Expansion Bird Card List

The Wingspan European Expansion was available for tabletop on November 22, 2019, and on May 5, 2022, the digital version was released.

This expansion adds new end-of-round powers (teal cards) that give players new game mechanics. There are also some powerful new birds that you let you tuck cards instead of paying food costs – such as Bonelli’s Eagle.

Here’s the complete Wingspan European Expansion bird card list; 81 in total!

  1. Good evening, I love wingspan, I’m from Brazil and I would like to know if in the future we could have an expansion of birds from South America?

    • Hello Farley,

Wingsplain.com is not affiliated with Stonemaier Games, the publisher of the Wingspan board game. We are just a fan site and like you, we love Wingspan. Stonemaier Games has stated that they intend to produce an expansion for every continent. From what I understand, South American birds with be included in the future Latin America Expansion.

Here is a link to the official Wingspan page of the Stonemaier Games blog: https://stonemaiergames.com/games/wingspan/

This website is well set up and I love the features you have for filtering and showing what bonus cards coincide with the birds! I did notice one error though with the snow bunting in the European expansion. The additional notes state this bird counts as a photographer bird, even though it’s color word is “snow” instead of “snowy”. The photographer bonus card is not represented on this bird to the right, and I wanted to point that out to help with future reference 🙂 Thanks!

    • Hello Keith. Thanks for checking out the site. The links out to the birds and their associated bonus cards are on Wingsearch, which is maintained by someone else. We are not affiliated with them. I’m not sure what the best way to contact them would be, possibly through their git hub link in the footer of Wingsearch. https://github.com/navarog
